Who needs spring?

Less than two weeks ago we had a little post-Easter Easter Egg Hunt at our house with some friends.  We had fun despite having to dress like this at the very end of April.

Yesterday, it was 91 degrees inside my house. 

So before the storms rolled in and broke the humidity, we headed outside dressed like this

 to do this

and of course, this.

So, somehow, we have managed to totally miss spring.  Even Tetley looks confused.

But the little bit of water time took the kids to a whole new level of excitement for the summer and all the backyard fun that goes with it.

Sorry spring, maybe we'll catch you next year.
